Honolulu Hughes

In 1932 Hank “Honolulu” Hughes threw 11 passes for the Boston Braves, far more than any other Brave. To put this into perspective, in 2008 Jason Campbell three over 500 passes.

 If anybody can help me find a picture of him, I would greatly appreciate it.

Jim’s “rookie” card is 1933 Diamond Matchbooks Silver #67.  Musick was also quarterback of the Boston Braves

Steve’s “rookie” issue is the 1935 National Chicle Premiums #17 shown to the right.

In this picture Hokuf is actually the defender making a huge tackle.

The picture on the right is a 1934 team issue picture.  As you can see, they were the Boston Redskins in 1934.
