Sonny Jurgensen PSA Master Set
Anyone who grew up in Washington D.C. during the late 60’s and early 70’s loved rooting
for Sonny Jurgensen. Besides Redskins football cards and Redskins team sets, I collect
almost any vintage item with Sonny’s name on it. I do not plan on registering my
Redskins team sets with PSA. While I like high-grade cards, I cannot tell much of
a difference between and 8, 9, or 10. They all look pack fresh to me.
However, I have decided to try to complete and register the Sonny Jurgensen PSA Master Set. As of May, 13 2009, the set is complete and I am the first person the complete the set. It is also the number one set. I don’t think I will hold this position long and I do not plan on trying to keep up when I am passed. I just thought it would be fun to complete the set.
I have also suggested to PSA that three additional cards be included in this set.
