1935 National Chicle Redskins Team Set
In 1935 the Redskins were still in Boston playing in Fenway Park. Four Redskins were included in the first major football card set. Three Redskins football cards appear below. I am missing what is probably one of the rarest football cards in the hobby – #27 Bull Tosi. The Tosi card is near the top of my want list but is almost impossible to find in a grade 6 or above. This set features the rookie cards of Redskin Hall-of-Famers Cliff Battles and Turk Edwards.
